National Mountaineers Endeavor to Survive Panjsher’s Victims
KABUL, Monday, Mar 02, 2015- A team consisted of fifteen bodies from National Mountaineering Federation left Kabul to survive Panjsher’s avalanche victims.
The catastrophic avalanche, which took place last week in Panjsher province, led 196 individuals dead. The mountaineer team tries to survive those who have been stuck under snow.
On the other hand, the acting governor of Panjsher province has said that the mountaineers cannot reach Paryan district -the most avalanche-hit area- due to road blockage.
As decided we have been dispatched to help those are hit by avalanche, says Abdullah Noristani, the captain of the team. “The mountaineers can help those are hit by avalanche”, he added.
