2 Afghan Poomsae Players Resigned
KABUL, Saturday, Feb 21, 2015- Syed Abar Rustami and Mohammad Noor Amiri, the two national Poomsae players have resigned. Both gold medalist players expressed the reason behind their resignation is the corruption existing in the National Olympic Committee.
I have resigned to support the taekwondo players. On the other hand, Mohammad Amir also says that he has resigned to indicate his objection against the existing corruption in the NOC, Rostami said.
Meanwhile Ehsan Nero, the spokesperson for National Directorate of Physical Education says the only possible solution is to meet the demand of protesting players.
This comes while previously other Afghan gold medalists including Rohullah Nikpa had resigned due to huge corruption existing within the NOC.
